Anakin and Padme were reunited today at Star Wars Weekends. ;)

“This interview was done with Mark Hamill in September 1976 at the World Science Fiction Convention in Kansas City. The general public knew little about Star Wars at this time and in fact the film was only about half finished with the release date nine months away. Rick Baker hadn’t even been called in yet, which is why Mark doesn’t mention his contribution when discussing make-up, etc. No one really knew what Star Wars would finally look like, much less that it would soar to unprecedented success. Thus his comments contain cautious optimism about the film. Aside from a lot of the interesting information this interview contains, it shows what it’s like to be in the middle of a mammoth production whose release is months and months away with a future where anything can happen… And it did!”

Well, this is something!

I like that this is about as deep into 2015 as you could possibly get, but I’m still hesitant to fully accept this won’t be pushed back.  And in my mind, that wouldn’t be a bad thing.

[Press Release] With pre-production in full-swing, a confirmed release date of December 18, 2015, has been set for Lucasfilm’s highly anticipated Star Wars: Episode VII.

"We’re very excited to share the official 2015 release date for Star Wars: Episode VII, where it will not only anchor the…

The best part of Wikipedia being an uncredible source?  The moments that it’s a totally credible source.
